What is Lakeland STAR School/Academy?

Lakeland STAR houses two public charter schools; Lakeland STAR School, which is Grades 7-8 and Lakeland STAR Academy, which is Grades 9-12.

Who can attend Lakeland STAR School/Academy?

Students from grades 7-8 and 9-12 of all abilities will thrive at Lakeland STAR. We offer similar curriculum to the regular public schools but provide personalized education plans to help our students discover their unique potential and maximize their capabilities. Teaching staff is trained to help students with sensory issues and students on the spectrum.

When can students enroll?

Open enrollment is currently in progress. Please fill out our enrollment form.

Where is Lakeland STAR School/Academy located?

Our new building is currently under renovation to provide the best student experience. It is located on the Lakeland Union High School campus and was the former Nicolet College building.
